Pseudo-Feminists Out Of Touch

Today the pseudo-feminists see the world in black and white- woman versus man. They purport a myth that the world is full of men who are suppressing women and holding them back. These men are always characterized as evil and manipulative and are often blamed for every failure or misfortune that befalls any woman. They dream and strive for the day when they can "overthrow" our "male dominated" society and turn it into a matriarchal one.
Of course the pseudo-feminists deny this goal, but when you look at their rhetoric and their basis of beliefs, the truth comes out. They do not want equal opportunity, they want matriarchal domination. They champion individuals like Charlotte Perkins Gillman, whose novel "Herland" creates a utopia, which unsurprisingly, is full of women. When three men enter this "perfect" society they are instantly imprisoned and repressed. This is the true goal of these misguided pseudo-feminists.
If you still have doubts, look at what the pseudo-feminists have done to the welfare class. It is the one class where they have succeeded in driving out virtually all of the men. Pseudo-feminists preach that it is the men who are holding women back, that it's the men who have deserted the women of society. There is a partial truth in their argument- some men do run off and leave behind women with their children. Many of the men who leave, however, are encouraged to leave by the very welfare system feminists advocate. The welfare system deconstructs family values and allows the would-be breadwinner in a family to leave and be comforted that their family will be taken care of by the state. The resulting welfare class is one that, as the Manhattan Institute asserts, is dominated by single mothers. It is in fact a realization that a "utopia" like the one in Gillman's novel is not as nice as the feminists make it out to be.
This brings me to another important fact - mainstream women don't identify with the modern feminist movement because it is dominated by these pseudo-feminists. Today, two-thirds of American women refuse to call themselves feminists. This is because the feminist movement has left them behind. Women who choose to give up their career, or those who never wanted a career and choose to stay at home and raise a family, are marginalized by the feminist movement. They are constantly told they should be out juggling career and family, even if they don't want to. When prominent pseudo-feminists like Hillary Clinton say they chose to be active instead of "staying home and baking cookies," they anger the mother who enjoys staying home and baking cookies and caring for her family. When you constantly tell women they can never be successful or will never be as good as men, they tend to get quite angry. In fact most women are hearing this rhetoric from the pseudo-feminists and not from men. That is why women don't identify with the pseudo-feminists - it's not because they are afraid of a stigma. They don't buy into the victim syndrome pseudo-feminists attempt to shove down their throats.
