UConn Police arrested the third suspect in the hit-and-run, which resulted in the death of Carlee Wines, Sunday.
Kara Satalin, 18, of Syracuse, N.Y. surrendered at UConn Police Headquarters at 5:03 p.m., after hearing of a warrant for her arrest. Satalin is charged with misrepresentation of age to procure liquor, procuring alcohol for a minor, conspiracy to commit third-degree identity theft and third-degree identity theft. Satalin is due in court Feb. 27.
Satalin had been traveling with the recently-arrested Anthony Alvino, 18, and Michele Hall, 18, hours before Alvino's Nissan Armada struck Wines. While not present in the vehicle at the time of the incident, Satalin allegedly used Hall's fake identification to purchase three 1.75-liter bottles of Dubra vodka illegally.
Police expect additional arrests to be made as the investigation continues.
