USG Sets Election Dates

The first meeting of USG this semester discussed the reinstatement of the GUARD Dogs program on campus as well as some other upcoming events for the year. GUARD Dogs, UConn's safe ride program, will run this Friday, Jan. 25. Volunteers are still needed to fulfill a variety of positions ranging from drivers to dispatchers in order for the program to run all semester. If anyone is interested in volunteering, they can call 860-486-8000 or go to the GUARD Dog's Web site, www.guarddogs.uconn.edu, and submit a volunteer form. This Monday, USG's new Web site will become live with updates on upcoming events and other information regarding USG. The date for USG elections has also been determined. They will run from Monday, April 14 until Thursday, April 17.
