It Could be worse

"The RidicuList is dumb," you think. "It's not even content. It's not even news. This is a newspaper." I know, I know, it doesn't make sense to me either. But the RidicuList could have been a whole lot dumber.
My Favorite Places
On The Internet
You know about all these Web sites? Have you ever heard of them? They're very interesting. I visit a lot of Web sites, and I visit them often. Have you ever heard of the Google? Probably not, nobody has. There's also Yahoo! I'm not really as excited as I seem about Yahoo! because that exclamation point is actually in their name. Isn't that wild? Aren't you glad you read the RidicuList today?
The most interesting words
The labyrinthine etymology, the tricky balancing acts of style and clarity, the stupid way our diphthongs work. Actually, no. I'm doing this one for real. The day we stop finding words interesting is the day we stop caring about Shakespeare, Homer, Vonnegut, Faulkner and J.K. Rowling. Also, it's the day we stop reading "CAUTION: WET FLOOR" signs.
Coolest "Magic"
Pro Tour players
It's just too obvious. Playing "Magic: The Gathering" professionally is such a fundamental tenet of American culture. It'd be like writing about the best Disney movies. We know Jon Finkel and Kai Budde like we grew up with them. Maybe some of us did grow up with them. Maybe that's who that weird guy was who lived on your couch and played "Magic" all the time.
Top 10 Accounting Classes
Wow, accounting! I never knew how much I loved you until I looked at the actual course offerings. "Cost Accounting." "Assurance Services." "Federal Income Taxes." I'm so enthralled, I'm leaking happy fluid from my eyes! This article would just write itself. I could never narrow to a mere 10. Maybe if I made it "Top 100."
America's Funniest
Home Invasions
Because there's nothing more hilarious than misery, media-stoked fear and random acts violence! Hey, this one time, some guys broke into a house and stole stuff, then they killed some people. Get it? Get it?
