Game of the Week - West Virginia 1, Men's Soccer 0 (Friday): In front of a sold-out home crowd, the Huskies dropped their second Big East game, despite out-shooting the Mountaineers, 16-4.

UConn is now 3-2 in the conference, good for second in the cleverly named Blue Division, behind Notre Dame.

Key Performance - UConn soccer fans (Friday): Over 1,000 soccer balls were donated at Morrone Stadium for "Kick for Nick," a Connecticut-based non-profit organization started in memory of Wilton native Nick Madaras, which collects soccer balls to send to children in Iraq.

Madaras' friends, family and former coaches were honored throughout the game.

The Big Letdown - Nate Miles, men's basketball: The star-crossed freshman's UConn career is over before it started.

The highly touted swingman was expelled from school Thursday amid allegations that he abused a female student.

Wish We Were There - Mankato, Minn., Saturday: Although seeing the women's hockey team split a two-game series with Minnesota State-Mankato sounds enticing, the Storrs Side really just wants to go to Minnesota.

Are there really 10,000 lakes? Are gophers really made of gold? Why is Minnesota State's mascot a bull when their nickname is the Mavericks?

Number of the Week - 4: The number of rushing attempts running back Andre Dixon has recorded this season, good for three yards.
