Shoes styles made for fall

As the leaves begin to fall and the weather rapidly grows colder, choosing what coat to wear comes with the concern of what shoes to wear. This fall there are many new lines that include flats, boots and sneakers, all of which have a place in the fashion world.
According to Nylon Magazine, moccasins and Mary Janes that will be seen everywhere this fall.
"Moccasins are stylish, comfortable, and match almost anything," said Suany Gomez, a 5th-semester human development and family studies major. "They're also very practical and you can wear them to work, class, and even if you're going out for the night."
Moccasins have been around for a very long time, but have just recently been brought into the fashion world by more well-known designers. This fall, both Marc Jacobs and Tod's have come out with different styles of moccasins in materials such as patent leather and suede.
The well known company UGG has recently come out with a new line of boots and accessories; they include boots in leather and suede and have different styles as well. In addition to the traditional UGG style, they also have riding and crochet boots; the line contains matching gloves, scarves and hats.
"It's really cool that they have matching stuff finally," said Jessica Homan, a 3rd-semester psychology major, "because I hate trying to match colors with the Uggs."
With the new line accessorizing has become much easier and consumers can stay warm and look stylish all at once.
Sneakers have always been a popular choice by designers like Nike and Puma, and both have created lines where the choices are up to the buyer. These new lines, Mongolian Shoe BBQ by Puma and NIKEiD by Nike, include different styles and colors where the customer can design the whole sneaker online.
"The colorful Nikes are so awesome," said Nicholas Constantino, a 1st-semester physiology and neurobiology major, "they have all the colors you could want and its really cool that you can create your own and have them be your own work of art."
With these new lines of sneakers, the consumer can create a one-of-a-kind shoe that expresses their own personality.
There are so many new shoes for this fall and with so many choices there is bound to be a shoe for everyone.
