Mixed results for men's cross country team at New England Championships

UConn finished 30th out of 47 teams at the New England Championships in Boston Saturday.
The Huskies ran six runners at the competition, five of whom were freshmen. Sophomore Scott Johnson finished first for UConn - and 41st overall - in a time of 25:31.
Andrew Judd, the second-best UConn runner, finished 15 places behind Johnson, but only twelve seconds behind him.
After Johnson and Judd the Huskies were spread out. Luke Albertson crossed the finish line in 175th place.
Rachid Sofiane and Tim Bennatan rounded up for the team. Tim and his twin brother Alex crossed the finish line simultaneously at 28:15.
UMass-Lowell won the race with 79 points, beating second-place New Hampshire by 10. Defending champion Brown finished third with 97 points. UConn had 745 points.
