Game of the Week: ALCS Game 2, Tampa Bay Rays 9, Boston Red Sox 8 (11 innings, Saturday) - Calling it a wild game just wouldn't do Game 2 justice. It was so much more than that. The two teams used a combined 14 pitchers in the game, which featured six lead changes. In the end, B.J. Upton's sacrifice fly in the 11th inning tied up the series as it heads to Boston today for Game 3.
Key Performance: Sean Morey, Arizona Cardinals - With Dallas backed up inside their own 10-yard line in overtime, Morey blocked Cowboys' punter Mat McBriar's punt, which Monty Beisel scooped up for the easy 3-yard score to finish the game.
Big Letdown: No. 4 LSU blown out by No. 11 Florida 51-21 (Saturday) - The Tigers got a rude awakening in the Swamp, as the Gators snapped LSU's streak of 23 straight wins in regulation. For just the fifth time in their history LSU gave up 50-plus points in SEC play.
Wish We Were There: No. 5 Texas 45, No. 1 Oklahoma 35 at the Cotton Bowl, Dallas, Texas (Saturday) - The latest installment of the Red River rivalry between the Longhorns and Sooners was an instant classic. Texas held close early and used a late push to make a huge statement by toppling the No. 1 team in the nation at home. There were more combined points scored than in any other game in the 103-game history of the rivalry.
Number of the Week: 7 - The number of home runs Tampa Bay and Boston combined for in Game 2 of the ALCS, tying a playoff record.
