Game of the Week: Texas Tech 39, Texas 33 (Saturday) - An instant classic. Texas Tech finished off arguably the most exciting college football game of 2008 with a last-second game-winning touchdown catch by Michael Crabtree.
This was all after Texas had rallied from a 19-0 deficit earlier in the game and took a 33-32 lead with just 1:29 to go.
Key Performance: Brad Lidge, Philadelphia Phillies RP (Wednesday) - With his second save of the World Series, Lidge finished a perfect 48-for-48 in save chances in 2008 and redeemed himself from his disastrous 2005 World Series performance (two losses).
Big Letdown: Georgia embarrassed by Florida (Saturday) - Tim Tebow personally made sure that the Bulldogs wouldn't have a chance with a five-touchdown performance as No. 8 Florida stomped all over No. 6 Georgia, 49-10, at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.
Wish We Were There: Phillies win World Series, Philadelphia (Wednesday) - It took an extra two days because of the rain delay, but for just the second time in their 126-year history, the Phillies are on top of the baseball world.
Number of the Week: 49.8 - Oklahoma's average of points per game this season after crushing Nebraska 62-28 last Saturday. The Sooners haven't scored fewer than 35 points all season.
