Freshman Karen Gurnon and junior Annie Yi scored in the first 21 minutes of the second half as UConn came back to stun Georgetown, 2-1, in the quarterfinal round of the Big East tournament in Washington, D.C., Sunday

In a rematch of last year's quarterfinal at Morrone Stadium - won by Georgetown, 1-0 - the Huskies (7-8-5) fell behind early.

Caitlin Durkee scored on a 18th-minute penalty kick for Georgetown (13-4-2).

But the Huskies rallied with a 53rd-minute goal from Gurnon, a Tolland native, and the game-winner from Yi in the 66th minute.

UConn will travel to South Bend, Ind., for the semifinals and finals. The Huskies will face West Virginia in the semifinal round. The two teams tied, 0-0, in Morgantown, W. Va., last month.
