Zeeshan Khan, 22, of Vernon, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. on Charter Oak Service Road and charged with second degree breach of peace. According to police, officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of Charter Oak Apartments. After a brief investigation, Kahn and another man were found to be involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Kahn was given a Jan. 27 court date and released on a promise to appear.

Ahad Malik, 21, of Vernon, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. on Charter Oak Service Road and charged with second degree breach of peace. According to police, officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the parking lot of Charter Oak Apartments. After a brief investigation, Malik and another man were found to be involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Malik was given a Jan. 27 court date and released on a promise to appear.

Mark Newman, 22, of Carmel, N.Y., was arrested at 12:46 a.m. on Hunting Lodge Road and charged with failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. According to police, an officer observed a vehicle operated by Newman cross over the solid double yellow lines on North Eagleville Road. Newman was stopped and subjected to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.

Andrew Platt, 20, of Hamden, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. on South Eagleville Road and charged with failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. According to police, Platt was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Officers subjected Platt to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.

Dustin Good, 23, of Bernville, Pa., was arrested at 12:55 a.m. in staff parking lot nine and charged with unsafe movement and operation while under the influence. According to police, an officer observed a vehicle operated by Good driving erratically during a snow storm. The vehicle was skidding close to parked vehicles and pedestrians walking through the parking lot. Good was stopped and subject to a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given a Jan. 26 court date. Bond was set at $500.
