'Revolutionary Road' and 'Slumdog Millionaire' take home top honors at the 66th Golden Globes

The recent 66th annual Golden Globes Ceremony was chock full of some great, funny and surprising moments. Here are some of the highlights:
Ledger was posthumously recognized for his role as the Joker in "The Dark Knight." Christopher Nolan, the director of the film, made a heartwarming speech as he accepted the award for Ledger.
"Slumdog Millionaire" truly dominated the Golden Globes with four awards including Best Drama and Best Director. Bollywood actor and megastar Shahrukh Khan was even invited to present at the award show. Critics and audiences alike have been responding extremely well to the film and the Golden Globes just thrust the movie further into the limelight.
Apart from Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin winning Best Actress and Actor nods, the show also won Best Comedy Television Series. Fey gave a characteristically witty and comedic acceptance speech but it was Tracy Morgan who stole the show. His comments on Barack Obama's victory and more had every attendant from Brad Pitt to Clint Eastwood chuckling.
Kate Winslet was awarded with two Golden Globes for her performances in "Revolutionary Road" and "The Reader," and the starlet was noticeably shocked and speechless. She may yet be on her way to her first Academy Award.
Other triumphant winners of the night were Best Actor in a Comedy Colin Farrell for "In Bruges" and Best Actor in a Drama Mickey Rourke for "The Wrestler." "Wall-E" also took home honors for best animated feature.
