The best of Blink-182

In case you haven't heard, rumors have been floating about a possible Blink-182 reunion ever since the former band's members - Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker - began speaking again in light of recent events. Hoppus told MTV last week that his and Barker's new band, +44, was over, and the "future is wide open." Sounds like it's time for all of us to head back to middle school. Here are my top 10 Blink-182 tracks.
10. "The Party Song" (Enema of the State) - Short, simple and oh so Blink. "The Party Song" taps the raw, faster paced sound of previous release "Dude Ranch."
9. "Stockholm Syndrome" (Blink-182) - Blink's self-titled album took the band to a whole new level. Gone were the immature, pop-punk hits that fans were used to, and in their place was a new, grown-up alternative sound. "Stockholm Syndrome" is the pinnacle of this sound with its aggressive edges, chugging riffs and deafening chorus.
8. "Adam's Song" (Enema of the State) - Blink-182 is best known for their "boys will be boys antics" but "Adam's Song" broke that mold for good. Lonely, hollow and downright angst-filled, Hoppus spins a tale of a heavy subject matter.
7. "Reckless Abandon" (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket) - A summer anthem at its finest.
6. "Man Overboard" (The Mark, Tom and Travis Show) - This single was used to promote the band's sole live album. "Man Overboard" calls out former drummer Scott Raynor on his alcohol addiction in probably the most upbeat diss song ever.
5. "What's My Age Again?" (Enema of the State) - "Dammit" put them in the public's ears, but "What's My Age Again?" catapulted them into stardom. Fun fact: Listen closely to the live version. Hoppus sings, "What's my age again? / Where's my Asian friend?"
4. "Dammit" (Dude Ranch) - The first Blink single to crack the charts, "Dammit" introduced teens everywhere to its brand of pop-punk with one of its favorite topics.
3. "The Rock Show" (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket) - Full of energy, catchy lyrics that we could all relate to and at its heart, it's a love song.
2. "Dumpweed" (Enema of the State) - "Dumpweed" kicks off "Enema" with a bang and shows the world the newer, more polished Blink-182. The opening riff is unforgettable and the whole song explodes on the chorus.
1. "Carousel" (Buddha) - "Carousel" was featured on both "Buddha" and "Chesire Cat," but the one you want is from the "Buddha" 1998 remastering. The original is a bit choppy but cleans up incredibly, and Hoppus' opening bass line is certainly his best. DeLonge's vocals are whiny and young, yet oh so right. It's fast, it's heavy and plenty of fun.
