If men ruled the Valentine's Day roost

Valentine's Day has long been touted as a holiday devoted solely to women. Every year, husbands and boyfriends empty their pockets to try to make things extra-special for their significant others.
They usually do not get anything in return (besides the love and appreciation of their women).
Somewhere along the line, everyone forgot that Valentine's Day is supposed to celebrate the love in a relationship and is not meant to be swayed in the favor of one or the other.
For the purpose of a good chuckle, let's examine what Valentine's Day would be like if it catered only to the guys.
Cards
Hallmark's sales would definitely go down. Guys just tend not to care as much about greeting cards as girls do. Maybe we are just not that emotionally connected, but cards would have to go.
It is likely they would be replaced with a food of sorts. Maybe the food could have a loving message. Nothing says "I love you" to a man more than a Philly cheese steak with a heartwarming message written in cheese.
Chocolate
Yeah, we would definitely keep the chocolate. Contrary to popular belief, guys love chocolate as much as girls do, but we just would not require the ultra-expensive Godiva boxes. Grab us some Snickers bars and we'll be good to go. OK, maybe a lot of Snickers bars.
But it'll still end up cheaper than that fine chocolate we get you ladies. Nestle Crunch and Twix would work equally well.
Dinner
No, you do not have to take us to Hooters for the wings special (unless you would like to).
But again, men are simple creatures. We do not require a fancy five-star restaurant to fill up our bellies.
Send us to a place with beer, wings, burgers or pizza and we should be good to go.
Hell, ordering in and watching a basketball game with your boys might just be the best way to get through to his heart.
Going Out
Ladies, guys might take you out for a Broadway show, ice skating or a number of other romantic getaways. What would the guys want in this situation?
