NBA

Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference, Sunday 9 p.m. on TNT

Although not so much a game as an offensive showcase, the NBA All-Star game is among the most fun All-Star games to watch in sports. In this year's match up, Shaq and Kobe will be on the same team for the first time since Shaq's days with the Lakers. Plus, where else would you get to see Yao Ming, Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire on the floor at the same time?

G-E-I-C-O Contest

It's not your average game of HORSE - well, OK, it is, but who doesn't want to see Joe Johnson, O.J. Mayo and Kevin Durant throw up some crazy shots?

NHL

San Jose Sharks vs. New Jersey Devils, Sunday 3 p.m. on NBC

The Sharks and the Devils come into the weekend as two of the best teams in the NHL, and this is a definite possibility for the Stanley Cup Finals match up. Joe Thornton has been outstanding for the Sharks this season, leading the team with 58 points.

NASCAR

Daytona 500, Sunday 3:20 p.m. on FOX

While I don't really watch NASCAR, the Daytona 500 is an event worth mentioning. Mark Martin, who drives a car with Tony the Tiger on it, and Martin Truex, Jr. captured the front row starting spots. Last year's winner, Ryan Newman, is in the field again, as is last year's points champion, Jimmie Johnson.
