The ones you should attend:
Men's Basketball: Notre Dame vs. No. 2 UConn, Saturday 2 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion on CBS
Earlier this week, Providence upset No. 1 Pittsburgh. If the Huskies pull out a win against Notre Dame on Saturday, they'll likely become the No. 1 team in the country for the second time this season.
Saturday will have other significance as well. It will be the last time Jeff Adrien, A.J. Price, Craig Austrie, Johnnie Bird, John Linder and Jim Veronick play a game at Gampel Pavilion.
The Huskies took down the Fighting Irish and their 44-game home winning streak earlier this season. UConn is 7-0 at Gampel this season.
Women's Basketball: Seton Hall vs. No. 1 UConn, Saturday 7:30 p.m. at XL Center on CPTV
The Huskies are only two games away from finishing off the regular season as undefeated Big East Champions.
Like the men's team, the women are playing in their final regular-season home game this year. Renee Montgomery, Tahirah Williams and Cassie Kerns will be honored in their senior night ceremony at the XL Center.
The ones you should follow up on:
Men's and Women's Track and Field: New England Championships, Friday, Saturday all day in Boston
For those who don't know, both track teams are enjoying one of their most successful seasons in the program's history. The men and women recently captured dual Big East Championships and the women's team is ranked the No. 13 track program in the country. The Huskies cracked the rankings for the first time in school history earlier this month.
