Game of the Week: Syracuse 127, UConn 117 (6 OT), Big East quarterfinals, Thursday)

When this one finally ended after three hours and 46 minutes, it stood behind just one 1981 game for the distinction of longest game in college hoops history. Syracuse never led before surging to a double-digit lead in the sixth (and final) overtime, ending a game that was the Huskies' to win from the start. As expected from a contest that required so much extra time, both teams had players finish with monster stat lines.

Performance of the Week:

Maya Moore

The sophomore sensation capped a week that earned her the Big East Championship's Most Outstanding Player award with 28 points in the final against Louisville at the XL Center. It's the first of what figures to be plenty of postseason hardware for Moore, who could finish the year with a National Championship and a Naismith National Player of the Year Award - a feat last accomplished at UConn by Diana Taurasi.

The Big Letdown: Men's basketball loses epic overtime battle with Syracuse (Thursday)

Regardless of how instant classic-worthy the game was, it's another year and another one-game exit for the Huskies in the Big East tourney. As talented as this UConn team is, they still have yet to prove themselves in the only month that matters.

Wish We Were There: NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, College Station, Texas (Saturday)

Five Huskies picked up All-American honors - three from the men's side and two from the women's - as UConn closed out another successful indoor season.

Number of the Week: 36

The number of points scored by Louisville in the championship game of the women's Big East tournament, the lowest ever by a participant in the title game.
