The Library

Though many students may not want to spend anymore time than necessary in good old Homer Babbidge, there is an infinite number of comfortable chairs and quiet nooks that are perfect for napping all over the library. The higher the floor level, the quieter the library will become - just try to make sure you don't drool on the books or disturb other students with snoring.

The Student Union

Serving students with meals, munchies and games, the Union is actually a great place to get some shut-eye before class. Stay away from the food court, as that will be loud, as well as awkward for fellow eaters. Instead, travel to the upper levels where soft couches and nice chairs abound. Also, look for a seat in one of the downstairs lounges, and enjoy some TV while you drift off. Still tired? Grab a coffee or tea downstairs before you head out.

Mirror Lake

This seasonal nap spot may actually be one of the most relaxing. Mirror Lake, located across from Arjona and Monteith, has shady trees and a handful of benches that are great to curl up on, when the weather is warm. However, be forewarned that geese and ducks are commonly around, as are the little presents they leave all through the grass.

Lu's Café

One of the less populated cafés, Lu's (located in the Family Studies building) is full of comfortable chairs and a generally quiet setting. Beware the times between classes and consider bringing some headphones, as many students tend to come in loudly demanding coffee and bagels.

The Music Library

Many students may be surprised to find out that UConn has more than one library - however, one of the most nap-worthy places on campus is the Music Library, located across from Buckley. The building is typically silent, and is full of lounges with chairs and sofas.

The Pharmacy Building

You don't have to be a pharmacy major to enjoy the Joseph A. Morosko Student Lounge, located in the pharmacy building. Located near the science and math buildings, this is a great place to stop and get some Z's in; just don't be offended if fellow students wake you up while discussing drugs.
