Huskies split pair with Big East opponents

The UConn women's tennis team started off the weekend by defeating Seton Hall 5-2 at home on Friday. UConn won the doubles games 2-1 to start off the match. In singles, BreAnn Cheung, Kelley LoRusso and Ali Campitiello all won in two sets. Katie Moritz added a victory in three sets.
Saturday morning Cincinnati visited Storrs and swept the home team 7-0. UConn is now 2-5 in the Big East.
"Cincinnati is a very solid team in the Big East and they've beaten some teams that we have lost to already," said head coach Glenn Marshall after the match Saturday.
The Bearcats beat St. John's while the Huskies lost to the Red Storm.
