SUBOG will be sponsoring a televised showing of the NCAA women's basketball national championship game tonight at Gampel Pavilion.
The event, similar to one the organization did in 2004 when both the men's and women's teams played in (and won) the national championship, will put the game up on big screens in the center of the floor. The placement of the screens will allow around 5,000 people to watch the game from a comfortable angle, according to SUBOG Sports Promotion Chair Eric Bouchard.
UConn will be facing Big East rival Louisville at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis in its quest for an undefeated season.
Doors to Gampel will open at 7:30 p.m., and the game starts at 8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to both students and non-students.
