The ones you should attend:

Men's and Women's Tennis: UConn vs. Villanova, Saturday, 12 p.m., UConn Tennis Courts:

Both UConn tennis teams will celebrate Senior Day as the Huskies wrap up their regular seasons together on Saturday with home matches against Villanova. The men's team will honor co-captains Joey Michaels and Ben Schueler, while the women's team will honor captain BreAnn Cheung and Allison Koch.

The matches against the Wildcats will provide a last chance for both teams to tune up before heading south to take part in the Big East Championship, which begins Apr. 16 in Tampa, Fla., for both men's and women's tennis.

Softball: UConn vs. Notre Dame, Saturday 11 a.m., 1 p.m. (Doubleheader), Connecticut Softball Field.

The Huskies (23-11, 7-5 Big East) are getting hot at the right time, having won their past nine games, pushing them into a three-way tie for fifth place in the Big East with South Florida and St. John's. This weekend, UConn will welcome third-place Notre Dame (24-13, 8-3) and its high-powered offense to Storrs for a critical series. In their past seven games, the Fighting Irish have been held under seven runs just once - in a 5-2 win against second-place DePaul on April 8.

The one you should

follow up on:

Baseball: UConn at Rutgers, Friday (doubleheader) 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m., Piscataway, N.J.

The Huskies won the first game of the series Thursday by a 10-5 final score, pushing their Big East record to an even 5-5. Forecasts for rain will force UConn and Rutgers to play a doubleheader on Friday. The Huskies currently sit tied for sixth in the Big East standings and a series sweep against the struggling Scarlet Knights (12-18, 2-8 Big East) would help keep the team in the hunt for their first Big East Championship berth since 2007, when the team avdvanced all the way to the tournament finals as a No. 8 seed.
