Does anyone else think that the Russian post-Soviet tenement complex at the end of "Quantum of Solace" looks exactly like West?
You know what kills me? We have had a rowing team for 10 years and we are in our racing spring season and are winning and we are never - not once - in The Daily Campus, but the tennis teams, which no one gives a crap about, get an article about their big losses this weekend. Makes sense. I want to see the rowing team in there. Guess what - we exist, believe it or not, and we probably do more than half the sports on this campus. You wake up at 4:30 every day to practice and tell me if you want to see your team in The Daily Campus for a little recognition. OK, that is all.
To the kid whose paper I'm editing: one who writes in third person ostentatiously with an occasional big word but very little substance shows that one is trying too hard to make one appear intelligent, especially if one could eloquently advocate one's position in one short sentence. One should apply to law school.
I wish UConn would stop referring to freshmen as first-years. I'm still bitter about not getting into Hogwarts.
You know you need to get laid when you start looking at incoming freshmen and think, "I'll find her next year."
How do I tell my girlfriend she doesn't have the body to wear leggings?

you do know..the way sports is covered in america is according to the degree of widespread acceptance. Meaning...most people have played basketball before. (Continued…)
