Jordan Cote, 24, of Bethel, was arrested at 12:37 a.m. on Birch Road and charged with failure to obey a stop sign, failure to drive right and operation while under the influence. Cote was given a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was given an April 20 court date. Bond was set at $500.

Caitlin Yanavich, 22, of Willimantic, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. at UConn Police Headquarters and charged with giving a false statement to police and interfering with an officer. Yanavich turned herself in after learning of an active warrant for her arrest. The warrant stemmed from an incident on Feb. 5, when the UConn Police were investigating a robbery. It was determined that Yanavich gave a false statement to police, thus interfering with the investigation. She was given an April 14 court date. Bond was set at $1,500.
Jose Nebres, 42, of Willimantic, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. on North Eagleville Road and charged with disorderly conduct. Babbidge Library security called police to report a in the men's bathroom. After a brief investigation, officers identified the suspect as Nebres, who was later arrested without incident. Nebres was processed and released on a $500 bond for an April 21 court date.

Jonathan Teo, 22, of Singapore, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. in McMahon South dormitory and charged with possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana. Police were called to McMahon Hall for the smell of burnt marijuana, and after a brief investigation, determined that Teo was in possession of a rolled marijuana cigarette weighing .3 grams. He was given an April 14 court date. Bond was set at $500.
Usman Hashmi, 24, of Wethersfield, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. in McMahon South dormitory and charged with possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana. Police were called to McMahon Hall for the smell of burnt marijuana. After a brief investigation, it was determined that Hashmi was in possession of 2.1 grams of marijuana. He was given an April 14 court date. Bond was set at $500.

This article is misleading - the case was not even prosecuted because Jordan was provably innocent of the charges.
