As UConn students enjoy the warmer weather with makeshift slip-and-slides and less clothing, celebrities are enjoying wedding ceremonies complete with confessions of love and undying devotion. Wedding bells rang through Hollywood this week for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, who threw a reception at Social Hollywood for their wedding guests.

The couple showed their guests a good time with appetizers and margaritas. "According to a source, the reception had a 'spring feeling'," according to People magazine. "The color scheme was green and yellow, and their cake was adorned with daffodils and orchids."

"Heidi and Spencer seemed so happy to celebrate with their family and friends," the source said. "The newlyweds snuck kisses at any chance that they got."

I'm pretty sure this is the second or third time the couple has "gotten married." If you ask me, this marriage couldn't have been celebrated enough. Congratulations to the happy couple and maybe after they return from their second honeymoon the American public can accept the nuptials and move on.

The Pratts were not the only celebrity couple head over heals in love this past week. Actress Salma Hayek and handsome French billionaire François-Henri Pinault were married for the second time in Venice, Italy, according to People. This is the couple's second marriage (a running trend, perhaps) as well - this wedding following a civil ceremony in Paris on Valentine's Day.

"She wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere as she exchanged vows with Pinault, 46, at Venice's opera house La Fenice," according to People. "The bride, who wore her hair in a bun with a long veil, held a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals."

The guest list proved to be very impressive with celebrities ranging from Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton, Woody Harrelson and Olivier Martinez, to Enrique Murciano, David Blaine and former French President Jacques Chirac. With such an impressive guest roster, the dress for the evening was appropriately black tie.

And soon enough, actor Campbell Scott will be walking down the aisle as well. Scott was engaged to Kathleen McElfresh after dating for over two years.

"I was in a one-man play, so I was very lonely," Scott said in reference to his long relationship with his fiancé. "Kathleen was in a play by the same author, but with a real cast. I just ended up with the cast one night, so we started talking."
