Hugh Hefner is seeing double and it's not just because of his old age. Nineteen-year-old twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon are two of the three newest "Girls Next Door." "Girls Next Door," a popular E! TV show that premiered in 2005 with original stars Bridget Marquardt, Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison, kicked off its sixth season on E! last night. The show documents the daily life of Hefner and his girlfriends.

The third edition to the newest season of "Girls Next Door," 23-year-old Crystal Harris, replacing Hefner's former girlfriend Holly Madison. Harris will be living with Hefner in his room, and the two twins will share their own.

"Our room is pimp," said Karissa on perezhilton.com. "We've got the round spinning bed from Chicago, a kickass big-screen TV and we have the perfect view of all the parties in the backyard. And we're getting a stripper pole in there, too."

As the main squeeze, Harris has some big shoes to fill. During Madison's reign as girlfriend No. 1, she built herself a platform that jumpstarted her career in the modeling industry. After the breakup, she told "People" that she's focusing on building her career and moving forward.

"I'm working on producing my own shows," said Madison. "Girls Next Door' was a great place to start but it was somebody else's show. I'm just ready to move on."

"Hef and I actually have a lot in common," claimed Harris on Hilton's blog. "We were both psychology majors in school … We laugh a lot together. We watch movies together. We love relaxing and having a good time and hanging out with the girls."

However, the original Girls Next Door don't seem so pleased with their replacements, according to Kendra Wilkinson at last year's playboy mansion Halloween party.

"There will only be the original girls next door," she told E! in an interview. "We built this show. We worked our butts off to be here. Now these girls are coming in afterwards. We've made this for them, and I'd appreciate it if they'd be a little bit more thankful … I don't feel like they're thankful."

Despite Wilkinson's criticisms, Hefner said his love for both casts of "The Girls Next Door" will never fade. At age 83, Hefner has enough love to go around.

"It's real love and, you know, it's lasted for a long time and you get to a place where, you know, there are understandable transitions," said Hefner when asked about his feelings for the original girls.

The show airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. on E!.
