In the world we live in today, technology provides thousands of outlets for a person looking to better their fitness and overall health. Whether it be through iPhone and BlackBerry applications, heart rate monitors with BMI calculators or the thousands of Web sites dedication to the body - learning about health has never been so accessible to the everyday consumer.
Here are some of the best blogs documenting health and fitness issues. Ranging from inspiring stories of dramatic weight loss to blogs that cover good and bad foods for your specific body type and fitness levels, there is an area of interest for everyone.

So what is the most useful advice on her blog right now? Arguably her piece on protecting yourself from the H1N1 virus. Her main tips include attempting to "Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (Listerine is fine if you don't like salt). H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat/nasal cavity to proliferate (grow) and show characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. Gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one."
